Elijah Green is the best prep power hitters to enter the MLB Draft since Bobby Witt Jr. in 2019. He’s got legitimately 60-grade raw power right now and could easily grow into 70-grade raw power before he reaches the big leagues, and an outside chance to reach that rare Seuly Matias range of 80-grade raw power.
AAA Omaha (9-11): L 0-14
Yesterday was an unmitigated disaster for Omaha. Jackson Kowar gave up a grand slam in the fourth inning to make it 8-0 before they could get him out of there. At the plate, the Storm Chasers mustered just five hits and did not work a single walk in the loss. Luckily for them, MiLB plays every night it doesn’t rain so they’ll get another go at Toledo tonight at 6:35.
