Kyle Isbel returned to the Storm Chasers lineup last night for his first start of the 2022 baseball season. Emmanuel Rivera continued his torrid start and Vinnie Pasquantino isn’t far behind him. Keep your eyes out for an article on these two coming out later today.

Seuly Matias hit another nuclear projectile into left-center last night, but Anthony Veneziano’s disastrous start to the season continued in epic fashion. His control has been so bad early on that you can’t even really evaluate him against AA hitters yet. It’s a long season.

How about Luinder Avila last night? The big 20-year old Venezuelan RHP was dominant for the fireflies and had his fastball into the upper-90’s early and often. The Fireflies had an offensive explosion and were a ton of fun to watch last night. The infield defense is solid, the pitching was great…fun game last night.
