Kaufman is what the Royals ought to pray Frank Mozzicato looks like in 4 years (97 mph fastball from the left side with a ++ breaking ball).
AAA Omaha (41-28): L 1-3
The Storm Chasers just cannot get in a rhythm this week. Daniel Lynch is now with the big league club so Jake Kalish will start for Omaha tonight. Omaha is off to Toledo for the week after today’s game.

AA Northwest Arkansas (37-33): W 7-2
MJ Melendez is a man among boys at AA at the moment. He hit HRs #22 and #23 last night on the way to a Naturals victory. He kind of got left behind when Bobby Witt Jr. and Nick Pratto went to the Future’s Game and then AAA, but he certainly has not been forgotten. I wish the Royals could find a spot for him at AAA but they certainly aren’t hurting anything keeping him in NWA either.
