AAA Omaha: Suspended due to weather
AA Northwest Arkansas (31-26): L 4-5
It took the departure of Bobby Witt Jr. and Nick Pratto and an implosion from the bullpen, but the Wichita Wind Surge finally beat the Naturals last night. Drew Parrish was absolutely dominant for the first 7 innings of this one, allowing just 2 hits and striking out 9 without allowing a single walk. Clay Dungan finished 2-4 raising his season average to .300. MJ Melendez and Dairon Blanco each finished 1-4.
A+ Quad Cities (38-19): W 11-9
This offense is absolutely relentless. Nick Loftin and Vinnie Pasquantino both received a day off and the River Bandits still tagged Wisconsin for 11 runs on 16 hits. Charlie Neuweiler made his season debut with the team and looked great for the first 4 innings before running into some trouble in the 5th.

Great night all around for the Fireflies. Maikel Garcia finished 2-5 with his first HR of the season. Tyler Tolbert finished 3-5 with a double. Kale Emshoff finished 2-4 with a HR. Darryl Collins was 1-3 with a BB. Gage Hughes was 2-4 with a double. Adrian Alcantara struck out 5 in 6 IP. Marlin Willis closed things out with 3 perfect innings with 6 K.
Royals Farm Report 
Good lord, Michael Massey is red hot. What are the chances he gets promoted to AA if BW Jr gets the expected call to Omaha (or KC).

Any update on Alec Marsh? He hasn’t pitched in nearly a month for NWA but it doesn’t sound like he’s hurt? It looks like he was transferred to the Development List.

Bicep soreness. Doesn’t sound like a huge deal but obviously noteworthy he hasn’t pitched in a while.

interesting – thanks for the details. I’ve never seen the tag “Development List” applied to a roster move before. Is he just working through the injury in AZ or something? Seems weird that the move wouldn’t have your typical IL tag on it
