All the River Bandits do is win. The offense was explosive, the pitching staff was almost untouchable, and they continue to man handle the High-A Central. AJ Block on the bump tomorrow.

It’s been a little bit of rough seas for the Fireflies lately but they made it work last night. The pitching staff was lights out and the offense provided just enough to get them back into the win column. I think Delvin Capellan is starting tonight.

ACL Royals Gold (1-2): L 3-4
Ashe Russell made his first appearance on the mound for a Royals affiliate since 2016 last night. To put that into context, this website did not exist the last time he pitched professionally. Seeing his name in the box score speaks volumes to this kid’s work ethic and desire to still be playing baseball. It would’ve been really easy for him to hang it up by now. Awesome seeing him back and playing baseball.
