Most of the guys that made our preseason top 50 list are on the ACL Royals Blue roster, with the exception of Seuly Matias (#10) who is rehabbing with the Gold team. On the Blue team, Omar Florentino came in at #48, Samuel Valerio came in at #47, John McMillon came in at #42, Charlie Neuweiler came in at #39 (he’s also rehabbing), Wilmin Candelario came in at #27, and Erick Pena came in at #5. The ACL games won’t appear on your MiLB.tv feed, so while we’ll have to wait for these guys to get to full-season ball to get look at them on film, we’ll at least get to see how they do against live competition against other teams for the first time in nearly two years.
I don’t have a lot for you on these guys that we haven’t already written. You can visit our home page and click the “Rankings” tab and go back and find some info on some of them. Googling “Burle Dixon Royals Farm Report” will bring up results as well. We’ll have more in-depth coverage of how their seasons are going, especially the big names, as the season gets along. For now, here’s the first box scores of the ACL season for the two Royals affiliates.
