- Danny Duffy will be making his return to the big league rotation today after 41 days on the IL. He was dominant before his injury and looks to help right the ship as the Royals pitching staff has had some struggles since he went out (though it’s been a bit better of late).
- Omaha got rained out last night and already had a double header scheduled for today. They will send Jake Junis and Scott Blewett to the mound today.
- Drew Parrish will be making his 3rd AA start tonight. He got roughed up a bit in his first start at AA but was also coming back from the Olympic qualifiers and it had been a few weeks since he’d pitched in a game. He looked a lot better last time out, striking out 4 and giving up just 1 run in 5 IP.
- Noah Murdock will make his first start of the 2021 season tonight for Quad Cities. The 6′ 8″ RHP from the University of Virginia has some really good stuff but got off to a slow start this season due to injury. There isn’t a MiLB.tv feed in Beloit so I won’t have too much outside of a box score for you on his start.

Let’s go Noah!
