AAA Omaha and A+ Quad Cities both got rained out on Tuesday night. Quad Cities will make up the game tomorrow with two 7-inning games. Omaha has not announced a makeup date yet.
AA Northwest Arkansas (6-6): W 2-1
Jonathan Bowlan was absolutely fantastic once again for the Naturals. He struck out 7 Cardinals in 5.1 IP, many with fastballs that were absolutely painted on the outside corner. Bowlan was showing out with the command last night and the Cardinals couldn’t do much with him. It didn’t take much offensively for NWA tonight, which was good because they didn’t have much. MJ Melendez finished 2-3 with a walk and that was about it. Dairon Blanco tripled and finished 1-3.
A- Columbia (7-6): W 12-1
It was another one of those offensive explosion kind of nights for Columbia. The team hit 7 doubles and tallied 15 total hits on their way to victory #7. AJ Block and Matt Stil were excellent on the mound combining for 11 K and just 3 BB in 8 innings of 1-run ball.
