The Royals selected RHP Stephen Woods with their selection.  A quick run down looks like Woods is a start who works 95-96, also throws a curve, and cutter.  It looks like he can get some K’s and hasn’t fought the BB a lot.  Woods missed all of 2018 with an injury.  More analysis will come later.

Woods was part of the Giants and Rays trade that sent Evan Longoria to the Giants.

The Royals passed in the second round of the Rule 5 as well as the first round of the minor league phase.
