Homer Bailey trade scenarios (yeah, I’m doin’ this)
I can’t believe I’m saying this, but I think someone is going to trade for Homer Bailey. It seems crazy to say since he was a train wreck of injury and ineffectiveness for four years, but he’s found some glimmer of his old self in Kansas City. And it looks like that might pay off for the Royals in the form of a lottery ticket prospect or two.
The 22-year-old Eaton has been a regular in the Legends lineup, starting the year with Lexington after 66 games with Idaho Falls, where he popped 37 XBH in 260 AB (20 doubles, 12 triples, five homers) and drove in 53 runs on a .354 BA.

I got another opportunity to ask a Royals prospect some ridiculous questions. This time, it was Wilmington outfielder Rudy Martin. Give him a follow on Twitter (@RudyM4rtin)
1. What’s your favorite baseball lingo? (can o corn, ducks on the pond, rippin bags, etc)“Seeing eye single, definitely.”
Arteaga made his MLB debut for the Royals tonight against the Minnesota Twins. Arteaga is originally from Venezuela signing with the Royals as a 16-year-old for $1 million. It took him 9 years and an injury to Adalberto Mondesi, but Arteaga can finally tell his daughter that he is a big leaguer.
