2018 Draft Class Review: Pitcher Roundup – 6/10/19
In the past week we saw Brady Singer get knocked around in his second AA start; While Bubic brought the funk with 10 strikeouts and a big time bounce back performance. Kowar evaded trouble early and often as he continues to display his durability, and Lexington suddenly has a bevy of arm talent and a winning record to show for it.
The Naturals had a great week winning five games and losing just two. The unfortunate part is that they’ve already been eliminated from winning the first half of the Texas League. Remember that in the Texas League they take the winner from each division in the first half and match them up against the winner of the division from the second half.
Khalil Lee has found his “boomstick”
Since the very beginning of Royals Farm Report, nearly two years ago now, Khalil Lee has found himself at or near the top of every single one of our prospect rankings. Which came right after we ranked Lee the Royals #2 overall prospect on the very first Royals prospect ranking that we did here at Royals Farm Report. By the middle of 2018, Khalil Lee had forced our hands, and he wound up as the #1 overall prospect on our mid-season Royals top 100 list.
