Top Performers
Nick Dini – C: While Dini only played in three of the seven games this week, he collected seven hits and five RBIs while collecting a .311 batting average during that time. Dini is coming off the 7-day injured list and has now been splitting time with recent call-up Xavier Fernández. Look for Dini to get more time on the field in the coming week.
Josh Staumont – P: In a season where the big league club has had relief pitcher struggles, Staumont has started to become a steady reliever. The 6-foot-3 righty has appeared in three of the seven games this week. In his three appearances, Staumont pitched five innings and only gave up one run while striking out five. Look for Staumont to get more appearances next week.
