Seuly Matias hit two home runs for the Lexington Legends on Thursday night. The two home runs give Seuly a total of 29 on the season, which leads all of Minor League Baseball. It also set the franchise record for home runs in a season by a Lexington Legend. Seuly will need to hit 12 more to break the South Atlantic League record of 40, 11 to tie.

Top 10 Catchers
#9 MJ Melendez
Hit: 45 Power: 50 Run: 40 Arm: 60 Field: 60 Overall: 50
“Melendez has more athleticism than most catchers, and it’s obvious in all phases of his defensive game. He’s a quality receiver who moves quickly to block balls in the dirt, and his footwork enhances his plus arm. Because he grew up around the game, he’s a more advanced game-caller than most teenagers.”
The Royals are growing their next great bullpen down on the farm.

Yunior MarteMarte is an interesting guy that I think has a good shot to pitch in the big leagues soon. He’s found his form again during his second go round of AA and he’s another guy I wouldn’t be surprised to see in Omaha soon.
Sean Thornton at Royals Review gives you his second half wishlist for the Royals.
Matthew LaMar says go ahead and let Baltimore take the first pick.
If you’re following along, you might be wondering why a team that had won four games in over a month’s worth of contests didn’t descend to Worst Overall Team earlier, well, may I present to you the 2018 Baltimore Orioles.
