In a press conference on Tuesday afternoon, it was announced that the Royals first round selection Brady Singer will sign with the team.
Singer’s deal is worth $4.25 million. For the 18th overall pick, the slot money is $3,349,300. Singer now joins his teammate Jackson Kowar, who signed the organization yesterday.
Singer posted a 2.27 ERA with 98 strikeouts in 95 innings for Florida as a junior. He was named the Gatorade College Player of the Year and the Dick Howser Award winner as well.
